8k and possibly 16k texture resolution support
We are working with 3D scans and photogrammetry and current 4k limit is prohibitive in most cases.
I guess there are a lot of potential customers in film/TV/HQ rendering or even next-gen game industries who would say the same.
Completed for 8k ;-)
I'd suggest it's time for 16K and higher!! I mean it was time for that two years ago if not more... so where are we at here? I do not understand at all why I cannot work on 16K yet, what's happening here? It's 2022 by now... You should be aware that a large number of people need 16K and even higher resolutions by now!
Also, yes you've introduced 8K but in designer in the "new project/graph" window, it cannot be selected. No, one has to create the graph first and then set the parent size in there... Also a little annoying... Use your software guys :S
16K is essential! I've used 8K photo scanned textures in 3DCoat with models set to 8K output and was good but 16k is almost identical resolution. I have SP2 but once you do 16K I can't go lower!
Yes! For baking down very high res photogrammetry base scans down to game ready sizes, the support for 8/16K is essential!

In some case, I would like to work on 2k resolution in my graphs and exporting on 4k or 8k resolution (as I checked once, I know it would work at least)
Yeap. Specially if you need to have close to camera objects and working in combination with UV tiles. A must need feature.
This would be really helpful
