Hide mesh objects (Not Mask Select hide) so painting can be done on the underneath objects.
Currently to paint on mesh objects hidden by other mesh objects, I would use the mask selection function to mask the object then hide it.
However, if that objects mask is removed irrespective to whether it can be seen or not then any paint changes applied to the mesh underneath the hidden object can appear on the object above which was previously hidden.
Substance needs the ability to:
Padlock objects meshes so they become read only so can’t be written to until unlocked.
Provide the ability to hide \unhide the mesh which is not tied to the Masking functions. when the are hidden they will never get painted on , when unhide (and not locked) then they can be painted on.
