Differentiate between imported smart materials and created smart materials
When you go into "Your Assets" in the assets shelf it will still show imported smart materials from File > Import Resources AND created smart materials by Right Click > Create Smart Material. There should be a way to only show smart materials from "Create Smart Material" and vice versa, there is other ways of doing this that can be discussed in the comments.

Another way is branching off "Your Assets" into other categories but that would be ugly and confusing, also require changing a lot of documenation, I want to see if anyone has any other ideas of how something like this would be like.
