  2. Add an option to orbit around the center of the viewport, not where the mouse is on the model

    I'm used to Blender and the current scene navigation in Substance Painter feels like it's fighting back against me whenever I try to navigate the view. Blender works by having an imaginary point in the scene which is always in the center of the screen. Orbiting will orbit around that point, and panning moves that point in the scene. It's much easier to control like that and feels more natural for Blender users, so please add the option.

  3. Color wheel with other color modes

    Similar to what MODO has for their color wheel. SO USEFUL to see complimentary colors, Analogous colors. you can really add a lot to your textures by seeing these colors defined.

  4. vmt/vtf/texture export option for valve source

    It's a less popular engine which doesn't support PBR but a few tweaks to shader settings can get you pretty close.
    Currently I go into photoshop to tweak the exported specular texture and then combine normal and specular maps ( on normal map's alpha channel). Then finally save it out as a VMT.
    I'd love to press export and get the diffuse, normal/specular textures in .vtf format plus a vmt text file that reflects the tweaks to the shader inside Painter.

  5. Import photoshop ABR brush file and CSH file

    Want use more brushes , need import photoshop brush and Custom Shapes, like in 3d-coat and body-paint.

  7. Edit a baked map in a new tab

    Edit a baked map in a new tab, like smart layer in photoshop! So we can correct it and make change in easy way.

    To going further, I see this: Each baked map will be a small project with one channel that you can tweak and work on it. When you redo a baking of this map it will ask you if you prefer to create a new layer on the top with the new one or overwrite all.

    Like in Photoshop when You hit Alt and Click on a single layer and it only shows You the selected layer / Isolated View

  9. Improve lazy brush GUI: like zbrush

    The current lazy mouse cursor is a darker grey radial around the brush size. There has no lines or connections from the centre point Until the brush actually draws I'm left guessing where the brush will go.

    Its difficult to guess where the brush will land at the edge of the circle

    Please add a display option similar to the zbrush lazy mouse

  10. Pressing C Should Also Cycle the Layer Stack's Channel

    There should be an option in the settings somewhere to enable the layer channels to cycle with the viewport texture channel cycling.

    Basically, if I press C to view Metallic in the viewport, my layer tab should also switch to Metallic for quick modifications.

    This would have an added benefit of essentially being a hotkey to cycle through layer channels instead of having to go up to the dropdown menu (which I find is fidgety sometimes when SP is in the middle of a calculation).

  11. Grids, Snapping, Guides + 2D View Improvements

    2D-View Grid with Snapping/Toggle functionality (Similar to Photoshop). Photoshop-Style drag-in guides (with snap ability).

    Ability to snap the grid to either the view-port or the texture, so you can move them independently and line them up however you please.

  12. Auto Updater or Update Button

    Please add an automatic update routine to Substance Painter. Or include a button to manually perform the check for new updates and downloading and installing them.

  13. Unlimited User Channels

    Not being limited in the amount of User Channels (It's limited to 8 now) in Substance Painter.

    It could be very useful to export many different texture masks to use them in S. Designer.

  14. Make it easier to import substances from Substance designer into Substance painter

    I recently purchased both Substance designer and Substance painter. I would have expected that it would be extremely easy to import your custom substances from Designer into Painter, but currently it's not. At least not for me. I can't find a solution in the manual or in the forums, and whenever I choose Import substance in Substance Painter, the imported substance does not appear like it does in Designer. The normal map is disabled, and the substance does not appear in the Materials section (which I expected), but instead in the Stencils and Textures section. Very confusing. If I enable…

  15. Scrolling to adjust settings in last selected option

    I like how in Photoshop, when I select a new blending mode, or adjust the opacity, your mouse wheel is bound to that action.
    This allows you to quickly scroll through all the blend modes or to fine tune the opacity by scrolling with your third mouse button

    I would love to see this in both Painter and Designer where is makes sense :) (basically any option list, 0 to 100 %, etc)

  16. OCIO LUT support for viewport

    it would be nice if Substance Products would have OpenColor IO color management support. Beeing able to judge your textures against a specific LUT would be really helpful

  17. Reset to default - Export settings

    As I didn't make a copy of the existing export settings, I accidentally removed one, and would like to have it back.
    There seems no way to do this unless reïnstalling? A button to reset the default export settings back to default would be much appreciated!
    I know it is a new feature now, and love it so far !

    Clicking on the numeric value instead of the pencil icon and the tabbing through the parameter list to enter discrete values.
